FAQ

No, in accordance with the industry's professional standards, I translate exclusively into my mother tongue, i.e. French. This guarantees a precise understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions and cultural subtleties. Native translators have an innate linguistic sensitivity that enables them to choose the most appropriate words, expressions and turns of phrase in the context of the target language.

Although machine translation tools have made significant progress in recent years, they cannot reproduce the quality, accuracy and cultural sensitivity of a human translator.

Choosing to work with me rather than a translation agency offers a more personalised approach to your project. By always working with the same linguist, you get a consistent style, flexible deadlines, precise adaptation to your tone and particular attention to your specific needs.

  • First get in touch with me using the contact form or by e-mail.
  • Give details of your project, your requirements and any other information you need.
  • Once I've gathered all the necessary information, I'll send you an estimate showing the elements of the project, my price and the deadline.
  • Once you've given me the go-ahead, I'll complete the job on schedule.
  • Once the translation is complete, I will send it to you by the means of your choice (e-mail, WeTransfer, etc.) within the deadline, together with an invoice.
  • Payment is generally due within 30 days of the invoice date.

To best meet the needs of your project, I need as much information as possible:

  • What is your project about (marketing, tourism, technical, etc.)?
  • What is the nature of your text (website, product description, brochure, social networks, etc.)?
  • Who is the target audience?
  • What is the tone of your brand?

Usually, rates are based on the number of words. The more complex the text, the higher the price per word.

To calculate the number of words, I use specialist translation software such as Trados, which also takes into account the number of repetitions in the text. This allows me to apply degressive reductions.

Transcreation services generally apply to brief content, such as headlines or slogans, which contain few words. The hourly rate therefore takes into account the creative complexity, the different versions required, the close consultation with the client and the strategic expertise required to adapt the message to the local market.

Payment must be made by bank transfer within 30 days of the invoice date (bank details will be clearly indicated on the invoice). Alternatively, payment can be made via Payoneer. Any bank transfer charges will be borne by the customer.

I am open to any request for revision or modification to ensure that the final result fully meets your expectations. You have 15 days from delivery to send me your specific comments and we will work together to make any necessary adjustments. My aim is to guarantee your complete satisfaction and the optimum precision of each project.
